Recognizing that many patients suffer from dental anxiety, Dr. Lewis uses The Wand® Computer Guided Anesthesia System to painlessly administer injections without the use of a traditional needle. This award-winning system uses a computer to regulate the flow of anesthesia into the gum tissue, allowing for a slower injection with greater control. The Wand® also allows greater precision, numbing a single tooth without the collateral numbing of the adjacent teeth or facial tissue. Using The Wand®, numbing effects subside in approximately 30 to 45 minutes, as compared to several hours with traditional injections.
